We use the latest laser engraving techniques and heat impression colored sublimation to create your gifts! We can use handwriting, photos and fingerprints.
We specialize in memorial keepsakes.
The business has moved and expanded several times since opening. We have added a second laser engraver, a sandblaster for rocks and pavers, a sandblaster for use on only glass and crystal, a color sublimation printer and heat press. “The Biz” nickname came about as we quickly realized we weren’t going to be “just” an engraving shop. It is even a place of comfort as many people come to share their grief or story with us. Creating personalized memorial gifts with the finest detail is what we find the most rewarding.
We have a wide range of gift ideas and many items are brought in for engraving. The business has so many categories of gift ideas: memorials, wedding items, retirement, baby, family, and of course Christmas is our biggest season.
We invite you to stop in and see what we have or give us your ideas. Humboldt Engraving & Gifts just keeps evolving thanks to our customers who come up with many of our ideas.
Brooke and Jordan are “The Reason the Biz Is”. We take great pride in creating memorials and giving comfort to families by creating the perfect remembrance.

About Us

Humboldt Engraving & Gifts opened in downtown Humboldt on December 6, 2010. The death of Renae Dreyer’s daughter, Brooke, in the fall of 2008 brought her together with Candy Robinson, who lost her son, Jordan, just 3 weeks after Brooke’s passing. Together they founded the business Humboldt Engraving & Gifts.
Renae Dreyer (pictured in center) has 25 years experience in the computer business, and that knowledge has been invaluable as she learned to operate the computer-guided laser engraving software and machine.
Kallie Davis (pictured on the right) started part- time at Humboldt Engraving in August of 2012, but quickly switched to full-time manager of Humboldt Engraving shortly after. She has experience in many areas and is excited to use her organizational skills at Humboldt Engraving. The business is now owned and operated by Renae Dreyer and Kallie Davis, both lifelong residents of Humboldt County.
Shelley Allen (pictured on the left) joined Humboldt Engraving in November of 2015, She is the customer service manager of Humboldt Engraving. Shelley has incredible people skills and a vast knowledge sales. Her compassion, drive and upbeat attitude are a great addition to our staff.
